Between Land and Sea: The Great Marsh by Dorothy Kerper Monnelly( George Braziller, In., 2007). Monnelly captures the beauty of one of the last natural ecosystems in the Northeast with a large format camera. “I’m really not taking a picutre of a salt marsh. It’s a feelling of place, a sense of place. It’s easier for me to convey the sense of place without being distracted by the color of the grass.”
